I attended Lowell Technological Institute and Southern Connecticut State University where I earned a B.A. in Earth Sciences, majoring in Meteorology.  I received a Government Services (GS) Rating as Meteorologist from the National Weather Service; served as forecaster for several private weather forecasting firms; and was hired as Meteorologist/Air Quality Scientist by Northeast Utilities (now Eversource) to support the Millstone Nuclear Station Emergency Response Organization from 1993 – 2001.  Millstone Station and all other electric generating plants were then sold under deregulation after 2000.

I then made a transition to the role of Account Executive at Eversource in 2001, and continued in that position as Senior Account Executive until 2020.  While in this role, I was presented with the opportunity to begin providing weather consulting and forecasting support to Eversource operations until late 2020.  At that time, I closed out my 27 year long career, and moved on to form UtiliWeather LLC.   Currently, UtiliWeather LLC provides meteorological services to Eversource Energy, Central Maine Power Company, and municipalities.

Please go to the "Weather Consulting"  and "Services" pages for a complete listing of services provided by UtiliWeather LLC.

When I am not fully engaged in analyzing weather patterns and model guidance, or creating outlooks and forecasts, I thoroughly enjoy family time; splitting and stacking firewood for the wood stove; home projects; wood working; maintaining relationships, and reading/studying scripture.
